The Silver Valley Neighbourhood Association is having a spring festival at Maple Ridge Park, to celebrate: local history, common community interests and enjoy the natural beauty of the Alouette River which has been designated as a BC Heritage River.
Silver Valley Spring Festival
Our Vision
The Spring Festival is a grass root festival celebrating spring time in the community. The general theme is community in harmony with nature, to build awareness of our unique environment and invite others to share this special feature in Maple Ridge.
We will invite vendors with environmentally friendly products, exhibitors or groups to educate, artists to display and perform, and food vendors creating spring flavor snacks and meals.
Spring is a colourful time of year and the festival will be full of vibrant colour decoration. People will have a full day of enjoyment, entertainment, learn about our neighborhood and environment and how each of us can contribute to a balanced, sustainable community.
Our Mission
To build a community that is unique and complete with social, environmental and economic balance as outlined in the Silver Valley Area Plan [part of the Official Community Plan for the District of Maple Ridge].
